Love Notes #45

To my siblings in Christ,

I am a pastor, a fellow child of God, and your cheerleader. We don’t know each other, but I know you are loved. I know that because each of us is born into this life perfect regardless of how we look or feel. How you manifest that perfection with your body, your clothes, or your way of being is beautiful to God. Living an authentic life, born of good intentions, kind regards, and humane care makes all the difference in this life. I affirm your whole self and that self is beautiful and loved- by me, by God, by your siblings in faith who understand that wholeness is wellness. Delight in who you are, and live fully into that life. I hope you see that you matter in this world. You are needed just as you are. I don’t know your experience, but I imagine it hasn’t been easy, and I am sorry that you may have struggled. Please know that you don’t walk this world alone. You are magnificent and special and loved. Did I mention you were loved? Go light the world.

Peace, Rev Sheresa Simpson-Rice, pronouns (she, her, hers)
