Living Psalm 23–Pentecost 8B
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
The Lord guides me, and I lack for nothing.
God grants me rest in pastures verdant, God guides me to calming waters.
My soul finds wholeness and healing. With God, I walk the paths of justice and righteousness.
Even when I face great battles and fierce enemies, I am not fearful.
Evil has no power over me. For God is with me. God’s strength and guidance comfort me.
A feast is set for me in the presence of those who hate me.
I flow in the power of the Spirit, I am overflowing with love and mercy.
Covenant Loyalty and acts of loving-kindness chase me and overcome me
every day of my life. I will live in God’s presence forever.
Living Psalm 23 for Pentecost 8B was written by Bec Cranford.
