Community Worship

Join us for Community Worship and Communion with The Rev. Carmen Lansdowne from the United Church of Christ’s communion partner, the United Church of Canada.

Ordained in 2007, Rev. Lansdowne was elected moderator of Canada’s largest Protestant denomination in 2022, and will chair the governing body for three years. She is the first Indigenous woman to lead a religious denomination in Canada. She says, “I believe that there is much the non-Indigenous church can learn from Indigenous peoples.”
