Holy One of many names,
ground us again in love when fear pretends to be faith.
Be near to those living in fear—from Minneapolis and beyond—
the immigrant, the unhoused, the hungry, the queer child,
the Muslim neighbor, and Black and Indigenous communities carrying grief.
Forgive us for choosing comfort over courage.
Unteach us cruelty.
Remind us that borders are human-made, but love is divine and crosses all boundaries.
May our faith look like justice—to protect and welcome the immigrant and the refugee.
Amen.
