My Prayer

Prayer from Deployed Medical Corpsman

Interfaith Day of Prayer

May 7, 2020

Father God in the name of Jesus.

I want to start by saying thank you.

Thank you for the blessings you give to me, my family and my friends every day.

Thank you for allowing me to live another day that was not promised.

Thank you for the food I eat, the clothes on my back and the shelter over my head.

Lord I ask that you forgive me for all the sins that I have committed in the past and forgive me for the sins that I will commit in the future. I ask that you help guide me down a path of righteousness. Help me steer away from the evil in this world Lord.

Lord God, I ask that you protect me and my service members on this journey.

I ask that you watch over us and protect and guide us as we travel Lord God.

I ask that you keep us safe and out of harms way.

And while we are on this journey Lord I ask that you watch over our families.

Protect and guide them as I ask you to do for us Lord.

I thank you. I love you.

And I will forever lift your name in the highest praise.

In Jesus name. Amen.
