The United Church of Christ (UCC) Scouting Working Group is composed of volunteer scouters who work to promote and support scouting in the local churches of the UCC.  The working group is an advocate of inclusive scouting, so that scouting programs everywhere are open, welcoming and safe for everyone.

Members of the the Working Group provide leadership in their area and regional councils, as well as, the national Religious Relationships Task Force of Boy Scouts of America(BSA). It seeks, through outreach and ecumenical relationships, to advance the aims of scouting and inclusion.

On October 5, 2016, the MOU was signed by Rev. Dr. John C. Dorhauer, General Minister and President of the UCC, and Michael Surbaugh, National Scout Executive for the BSA.
