Reporter’s Roundtable: Citizens Bank, Antoinette Brown, Church and buildings, and Club West
UCC News recorded a special, live edition of the Reporter’s Roundtable featuring some of the top stories we’ve produced in 2026 thus far, on Monday, October 12. We took a look at Citizens Bank’s decision to stop funding ICE detention centers, a move sparked by protests of faith leaders, including UCC clergy; shared a recap of the Antoinette Brown Society event in Raleigh, North Carolina; reviewed some of our most impactful and invigorating social media content; and focused on a church that sold their building, while continuing to worship and serve its community; and shared an inside peek into Vermont’s poorest town, and how one UCC congregation is working to keep teens off the streets and engaged.
We invite you to watch, comment, and send us any story ideas you may have. Email us at newsteam@ucc.org.
