Loving and merciful God, we lift up to you the people of the Middle East, especially the Palestinian people of Gaza and our church partners there. We pray for an end to violence and death, and a cease fire; the immediate provision of sufficient food, water, and medical supplies; and the release of hostages and prisoners. We pray for our partners, heroically caring for their communities in the midst of crisis. We pray that root issues are addressed so that a just and durable peace may be reached, enabling every person to live an abundant life, with rights respected. In Christ’s name, Amen.
