Our hearts cry out, O God, for peace. For justice. For wisdom. For the ones seeking to bring peace, we pray that you, O God sustain them. For the ones who feel that they are alone, we pray for your presence. For the ones forced to flee in front of invading armies we pray for their safety. For those complicit in the violence we pray that you soften their hearts. For all of us we pray for the hope needed to continue to live love in a world broken by violence and hate. Amen.
