Divine Love, thank you for the gift of spiritual resurrection. Caring Creator, thank you for renewing the spiritual core of humankind through the liberating power of your universal love. Beloved Friend, thank you for being a compassionate friend to all who suffer in body, mind, and spirit.

Surround in love survivors of violence and abuse. Create courage in the hearts of the powerful to lead efforts in conflict resolution and lasting peace for the oppressed. Provide friends to the peacemakers and humanitarians who grow weary from despair at the depth of human suffering. Hear our cry. Amen.
