Holy One,

May we learn to see the lives of all beings – human and other – as important as our own. Help us to stop the violence taking place in factory farms which then goes into our bodies and is manifested through our selfish actions and feelings of entitlement/superiority. May we release this “My life is more important than yours.” flawed way of believing to embrace all peoples and other beings, and to treat our farm animals with dignity and graciousness.
