God of all Creation, may our nation find a way forward that is true to the values and teachings of Jesus Christ. In this time of severe division, may we come together and address the needs of the poor, the disadvantaged, the lonely and the forgotten not only here but around the world, May we also realize that our mere existence is a gift given to us from God, and that we must address our actions that are destroying our planet. May we remain true to our faith that the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice.

In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
