God, help me to make family members of the people I meet in my everyday life. Let my words and actions show them that I want to include them in my community. May I find and welcome neighbors among those that have been excluded by myself, my family, my faith community, my schools, my political party, my state and my country. Break down the cultural, political and economic barriers that keep me from sharing and trading with them. Amen.
