God of Grace and Glory,

May your truth and action in the world remind us that love without truth and action is mere sentiment. May your grace and forgiveness transform our resentment and bitterness into forgiveness and hope. May our brief and ungainly attempts love we share be a reflection of the steadfast and eternal love you have for us. In your holy name we pray. Amen.
