Opportunities to Volunteer in Disaster Recovery

Greater Dayton, Ohio – extended through July 2022. A tornado outbreak in May 2019 damaged thousands of homes. Volunteer teams of 4-10 people are needed to finish interiors of new/rehabbed homes. UCC Partner in Service Jaye Herrick will be on site beginning the end of June coordinating construction and volunteers. Contact: Week of Compassion

Philadelphia’s Eastwick neighborhood. In August 2020, Tropical Storm Isaias poured up to four feet of water into dozens of homes. Work teams currently are being scheduled throughout the summer of 2022, primarily for interior work. UCC Partner in Service. Eileen SanPedro will be on site to coordinate construction and volunteers.
