A Prayer of Joy: December 14

Let us pray:

God,
You call us, in and out, to be gathered into faith-filled community
We confess that we sometimes miss the beauty of the forest, vast and diverse, for the trees
Help us not to neglect the work we are called to do as church because of our focus on the rules, regulations, buildings, and politics of church work
Restore unto us joy in beloved community. Amen
