Holy One—

Beyond every name, beyond every book, beyond every tradition,
We pause to listen.
Free us from the arrogance that claims You for ourselves alone.
Heal the fear that divides neighbors or turns faith into a weapon.
Open our eyes to the holiness in practices unfamiliar to us.
Open our ears to the sacred wisdom in voices we do not yet know.
Bless Christians beginning Lent.
Bless Muslims beginning Ramadan.
Bless all who seek You—through scripture, through tradition, through service, through love.
May it remind us that God is speaking, drawing all people closer to divine love.
