Sacred Conversations to End Racism

Sacred Conversations to End Racism (SC2ER) is a restorative racial justice and transformative educational curriculum. Clergy and lay leaders gather monthly to engage each other in culture-centered reading and viewing resources. Restorative racial justice work is internal and external. God did not create superior people groups. Therefore, Christians who claim solidarity with Jesus are called to radical and prophetic ministries of equity, liberation, and justice for all.

“Culture is the possibility to create, renew, and share values. It is the oxygen that enhances humanity’s vitality. It has to do with spirituality, something the state is not always concerned about.”

–Jacques Nanema, ORIGINS African Wisdom for Every Day
