Perhaps naive, but Just Maybe…
I wish for
the Kingdom of God,
In the here and now….
Maybe,
Just maybe,
If we could love our diverse neighbors,
If we showed more
empathy and compassion,
By acknowledging,
With those qualities,
What it must be like,
To “walk a mile in another’s shoes,”
The “most vulnerable’s shoes”
Treating all as;
Gods beloveds,
Both Humans and animals,
All of Creation
as a divine gift,
Maybe,
Just maybe,
We could begin
Again..
(A Mulligan, A do-over))
A chance at
“Hug of War”
Vs Tug of War,
In creating
The Kin-dom of God
In the here and now.
