Holy One, we come before You with hearts that own the deep pain carried through generations because of injustice, slavery, and oppression. We ask You to bring healing to every broken heart. Where there is sorrow, pour out Your peace; where there is bitterness, release forgiveness; and where there is pain, bring comfort and strength. Heal memories that still hurt. Let Your love reach every hidden place of emotional struggle. Be with us and bring us hope as we strive to truly heal what history has broken. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
