God of compassion and grace
You watch the smallest raindrops
Fall together to
Fill dusty holes of fear in the ground.
You witness each tiny splish, splash, sploosh,
As we send circles of change
Toward the land around us.
You gather your children to
Play in puddles of hope
Created when we pool
In your presence.
Open your clouds of community
Today, let your justice pour
From the heavens.
Help us make space in this
Parched land
For all your children to play. Amen
