God of many names,

How awesome is your creativity,

Creator of me who is creator of myself.

As we join you in the sacred act of creation,

Remembering the revered Sarah and her husband Abraham, The apostle Paul, even the Pope,

We see it is a sacred Christian tradition to take on a new name after having been changed through an encounter with the Divine,

So we celebrate the wisdom and authenticity of those queer folx who model sharing in this creativity,

In leading us towards a recognition of the divinity within all of us.
