God of love and justice,
Stand with those whose tables are empty.
Move through the hands that deliver food,
Through the hearts that resist indifference,
Through the voices that speak justice to power.
Come, God of the Kin-dom,
Tear down the halls where greed sits,
Shake the rooms where vanity prays,
Turn over the tables where apathy reigns,
And plant your love in the hearts of all who feed,
May we see hunger and act.
May we see injustice and resist.
May we see one another and recognize your image.
Because feeding individuals isn’t political.
It’s holy.
It’s justice.
Amen
