God of many names, and of ones yet to be discovered,
I ask you for peace, I ask you for love, I ask you now for healing.
Peace for the United States, for Ukraine, Gaza, Israel—how much longer must suffering continue?
How many lives lost, how many hearts broken?
I pray especially for our LGBTQIA+ community, and I stand as an ally, knowing that being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or otherwise is not a sin.
I pray for Black lives, for immigrants, for all who are oppressed, for all who are pushed to the edges.
May your love remind us that hope is alive, hope is possible.
Amen
