Gracious God, You’ve asked us to treat others as we would like to be treated ourselves. You’ve asked us to love our neighbor. You’ve asked us to forgive as You have forgiven us. But God, this is so difficult! We are witnessing injustice and cruelty and bigotry every where we look, every where we go. We want to look away, we want to protect our hearts from breaking. God, help us to not look away, but instead to focus on You and pass all our worries and fears through Your heavenly lens. Let us be Your vision, Your eyes as well as Your hands, feet and voice. Give us clarity. Give us courage. Amen
