God of the forgotten and forlorn,
You are El Roi, the God who saw Hagar then, and the God who now sees me now,
Open our eyes to those who feel lost and afraid,
Push us to see those who often feel unseen,
That we may we may love those who society has told are unlovable but you have called us to love
For you are the one who always sees us, loves us, and cares for us, no matter what.
Through Jesus Christ, the ultimate example of love, we pray. AMEN.
