For the drummers, singers and music makers. Of David. A Teaching. The sounds of creation.
1 May Creator prevail; may the adversaries be dispersed: may the opponents retreat from the Presence.
Blow them off like smoke from a sacred fire into the breeze, as fire melts the fat from our meat, may the invaders vanish from the Presence.
3 May the people walking on a good path be satisfied, full of joy as a birdsong, and raise their arms towards Creator in gladness.
4 May voices chant to the sound of drumbeats as the people raise tributes to Creator who is everywhere and dance before the Presence whose name is Sky Woman Atsi’tsiaka:ion
5 A parent to the orphan, a protector of everyone is Creator in the longhouse.
6 Creator blesses the people with others to love and flourish in relationship and spearheads the journey of the freed warriors with voice and drums, but the rebellious live in a parched land.
7  When you, Creator strode out leading the nations,
8 when you trod through the lands of Turtle Island the ground shook and rain drenched down before the Maker of Mother Earth.
You delivered nourishing rains to revive all that lives and into the next seven generations of our peoples.
10 Your children put down roots and you provided essentials for a good living.
32 Give voice all creatures of Mother Earth, offer ceremonies to Creator.
33 To the sky walker who dances through the aurora borealis and cosmos from the beginning and whose voice is the roar of thunder.
34 Declare the authority of The One whose leadership as chief is over the nations whose teachings embrace Mother Earth and every creature on the land, in the sky and in the waters.
35 You, Creator, are breathtaking in your sacred space; your Spirit provides authority and exuberance to your nations.
Glory be to You Creator!
