Risen Lord, you made your presence known not hiding your murderous wounds. The wounds caused by the world’s peace, Pax Romani. No locked door prevented your presence. Your first word was “Peace”. You spoke to their hearts, our hearts. I remain locked in fear to stand up to my nation’s Pax Americani. I confess my casual acceptance of violence has made me an accomplice. Show me the path of nonviolence. Bring me into the fullness of your Pax Christi.
