Gracious God,

I pray for peace and all areas experiencing war and violence. I especially pray for the innocent children, who are injured, traumatized, and who have lost their parents. May Peace prevail so that all experience the abundant life that you Will for all the world. Work in the hearts and minds of those in power to bring peaceful solutions to world dilemmas.

May our country find ways to talk across differences in the current political climate. May the church take the lead in showing respect in discourse, and value all of God’s children, even those we disagree withIn Jesus’ name, amen
