Parent God,

Bless the citizens of the United States as we soon decide on leadership for our communities, states and nation. May your love and justice empower us to work for that love and justice here on earth. Guide us to evaluate and choose leaders who reflect our desire for compassionate laws and programs that benefit all, but especially those who need assistance. May our elected leaders work for peace and security for all us. Grant us wisdom. Amen.
