Spirit of the Earth,

We recall the creation stories as we pray for the many fires burning in the brush and forests of the West. We ask for protection of those fighting the fires and for the lungs of those who are breathing the smoke-filled air to be protected.
Please help us to cherish this planet as much as You do.
