Divine Creator,
Though realities of violence and injustices bring heavy hearts, we uphold all are your children. We see suffering of the marginalized and oppressed and pray for courage and strength to stand against hate and discrimination of all its forms. We pray for victims of violence and their families who have been torn apart by senseless hatred; be it in this country, abroad, within their homes or neighborhoods, or within a country or population under attack. May we all have wisdom and boldness to acknowledge God-given human rights to peace and safety, and to an equitable society for all.
-Dr. Katrina Roseboro-Marsh, Greensboro, NC
