Turning the Tables – Palm Sunday

Jesus acted to bring greater economic justiceTURNING-TABLES-PROMO.jpg
We are called to do the same

Soon after Jesus arrived in Jerusalem, on the day we now call Palm Sunday (March 20), he went to the temple and overturned the tables of the buyers, sellers, and money changers, driving them out of the temple. Many biblical scholars believe this was the most significant single event leading to his arrest and crucifixion. On Palm Sunday, let us welcome Jesus. And let us also follow him by speaking out and acting to end economic injustice.
