Resolutions and Other Formal Motions from General Synod 29
The following resolutions, submitted in accordance with the provisions of General Synod Standing Rule 12-C, have now been considered by the Executive Council's Committee of Reference. The Committee of Reference recommended minor editorial changes to some of the resolutions and changed the titles of seven of the 15 resolutions to more accurately reflect the intent of the document. On March 9, 2013 the Executive Council considered the recommendations of its Committee of Reference and forwarded to the Twenty-ninth General Synod the recommendations without additional action. The recommended disposition of each resolution can be found at the top of each document.

A Formal Motion is a matter coming before Synod which is not a Pronouncement, Proposal for Action or Resolution. An affirmative vote by delegates is required for adoption of a Formal Motion.
