UCC Typhoon Haiyan Response

• Over 13.2 million people are affected by Typhoon Haiyan of whom over 4.4 million people are Displaced
• Infrastructure damage is severe. 1,071,505 houses are damaged, including 527,283 that were completely destroyed.
• An estimated 2.5 million people are still in need of food assistance. This figure is likely to increase following subsequent assessments.

UCC  is supporting early recovery efforts, including the provision of shelter, food, drinking water, medical supplies and more.  Long-term rebuilding and community restoration work will also be supported by the UCC.
