The Worship Page is your center for forming worship that deeply touches this generation of UCC churches. It includes resources for liturgy, sacraments, prayer, and preaching.
SAMUEL/Sermon Seeds (Scripture and Mission: A United Church of Christ Electronic Library) includes readings from the Revised Common Lectionary, "Sermon Seeds" helps for preaching and study, a focus scripture coordinated with "Seasons of the Spirit", and mission information from the back of Sunday UCC bulletins.
Worship Ways offers liturgies, prayers, and worship suggestions for the current season of the Church Year and UCC calendar days. It also includes a large archive of past resources for days found in the UCC Desk Calendar.
Inclusive and Expansive Language offers guidelines on expansive language about God and inclusive language about people for use by local churches, associations, and conferences for worship and publications. You will find a suggested inclusive language covenant, information on the witness of General Synod, and a link to download a new brochure on expansive and inclusive language.
Worshiping into God's Future includes worship, music, visual images, and study resources from the recent church-wide worship initiative. It also includes Summary and Strategies 2005, a report of the initiative's research and future plans. You will also find a research media presentation to download and use in your own church.
On other pages you'll find resources and articles from the Book of Worship, a weekly Mission Moment, and links to interactive liturgy, lectionary and preaching, or music and arts forums.
Prayer Chapel is a quiet space reserved for your prayers. UCC congregations around the country lift up prayers every week. You may also engage with others in a liturgy, lectionary and preaching, or music and arts forum.
Most of these resources are ecumenical and suitable for use in other Christian churches. The Worship Page is a project of the Worship and Education Ministry Team, Local Church Ministries, United Church of Christ.
