advocate for justice
Do justice and seek peace
We Do Justice - Join Us!

In the United Church of Christ, we do justice. We started in the 60's with the Civil Right movement. We've been advocating for gay rights since the 70's. We took on environmental racism in the 80's. And in 2005, we were the first church in America to endorse marriage equality. We're doing justice. Join us.

"What does God require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?"
Micah 6:8

  • Call on Governor Kasich to Grant Clemency for Arthur Tyler
The UCC has long opposed capital punishment. Now the state of Ohio is ready to execute a man who was wrongfully convicted. Please call Gov. Kasich on Friday, April 25, and urge him to grant clemency to Arthur Tyler.
  • Protect Voter Rights
Justice cannot be achieved unless the rules governing the democratic process are fair to all. Contact your legislators and urge them to protect all voters from discrimination by supporting the Voting Rights Amendment Act.
