(ARDA) “strives to democratize access to the best data on religion” by collecting and storing data from religious researchers. Funded by the Lilly Endowment and based in the Pennsylvania State University, Department of Sociology.

The Louisville Institute
Based in the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary the institute offers grants, fellowships, and collaborative religious resources for projects. Promotes pastoral leadership education and scholarly research in order to study issues facing the church today.

Pew Research Center’s Religion & Public Life Project
A fact tank that provides an array of information and “seeks to promote a deeper understanding of issues at the intersection of religion and public affairs”. Based in Washington, DC.

Lilly Endowment, Inc.
A private philanthropic foundation that supports programs, initiatives, and research to sustain American Christian churches and ministry. Based in Indianapolis, IN.

Religious Research Association (RRA)
“Academic and religious professionals working at the intersection of research and practical religious activities”. With over 600 members the association promotes social scientific study, networking via annual meetings, and a place to present research findings.

Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies (ASARB)
A group of religious statisticians who meet annually in order to share knowledge, improve their own methods, and compare statistics.

Religion Census: Religious Congregations & Membership Study (RCMS)
Provides a collection of county-level data from participating religious bodies nationwide.

Keepers of the history and heritage of the United Church of Christ.
