I recently returned from a trip to Southern Asia. It included Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and India.
I have been given the privilege of traveling the breadth of our denomination to preach, teach, and bear witness to the many ways God is still speaking in our midst through the faithful gathering of disciples that comprise our 4,882 churches over all 50 states.
On August 1, I started in the roles of Associate General Minister for Wider Church Ministries and Operations and Co-Executive for Global Ministries. After the purchase of a home, a drive from New York to Cleveland, and receiving a moving truck, I am adjusting to being back in Ohio and working out of the National Setting.
It was a little over four years ago I was elected to serve in this office. I want to share a few thoughts about why I think this is the greatest gig ever.
