SUMMARY:Global Table Talk: The UCC @ The United Nations – The Who\, What\, When\, and How of UN Advocacy
DESCRIPTION:Join the United Church of Christ UN Team for the October installment of our monthly series\, Global Table Talk: The UCC @ The United Nations. \nIn this October conversation\, we’ll hear from Donna Bollinger\, Minister for United Nations Advocacy\, as she shares insights from the UN General Assembly in New York City. We’ll explore the who\, what\, when\, and how of UCC advocacy at the United Nations\, including current advocacy opportunities and the issues and conversations shaping this work. Learn more about how the UCC engages in these global spaces and why this work matters to our shared commitment to building a just world for all. \nParticipants will also discover ways UCC congregations\, members\, and advocates can stay informed\, connect global issues to their local communities\, and engage in United Nations advocacy from a local level. \nThis webinar is part of a monthly series held on the third Tuesday of each month\, offering updates from the UCC’s work at the United Nations and opportunities for the wider church to become more deeply engaged.
