SUMMARY:Global Table Talk: The UCC @ The United Nations - Human Rights Council & the UN General Assembly
DESCRIPTION:Join the United Church of Christ UN Team for the first webinar in our new monthly series\, Global Table Talk: The UCC @ The United Nations. \nIn this September conversation\, we’ll explore current developments at the United Nations\, with a focus on the UN Human Rights Council and the United Nations General Assembly. Learn more about how the UCC is engaging in these global spaces\, the issues and conversations shaping this work\, and why they matter to our shared commitment to building a just world for all. \nParticipants will also discover ways UCC congregations\, members\, and advocates can stay informed\, connect global issues to their local communities\, and engage in the church’s ongoing work for human rights\, justice\, and peace. \nThis webinar is part of a monthly series held on the third Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM Eastern\, offering updates from the UCC’s work at the United Nations and opportunities for the wider church to become more deeply engaged.
