Worthy Is the Leader

The rule of law is not oppressive if that rule is grounded in God’s love for all: advocating for the poor, supporting the weak, taking a stand against destructive violence.

Merry Christmas!

I hope your eggnog hasn’t soured, that you haven’t recycled the tree and moved on to other things. I hope you’re still in Christmas. I hope Christmas is still in you.

Baby Talk

ur baby daughter isn’t speaking real words yet (just a few mamas and dadas—cue heart explosion), but she’s beginning to find her voice through a steady stream of bababas, nananas, raspberries, little growls, and coos.

The Peaceable Kingdom

A biblical standard for leadership is that a leader shall work to make the world safer for the vulnerable, for the lambs and calves, for the poor and the children.
