If you were to visit the Family Village Farm in Vellore, India today, there would be a birthday party in progress. The staff of Family Village Farm celebrates the birthday of the ministry’s founder Dr. Pauline E. King – a medical missionary who came to India in 1955 as a member of what is now Global Ministries. Dr. King’s philosophy was, “I may not be able to do much, but I can do something. And, if I do what I can, maybe others will help.” The Family Village Farm is a community that serves the orphaned children, elderly women and those who are destitute. Dr. King managed the facility until her retirement in 1988. Those who carry on the work of FVF carry on the legacy of Pauline E. King.
