An adjunct pastor at First Congregational Church in Stockbridge, MA, started an All Are Welcome worship service before the running of the New York Marathon - a "worship service for runners by runners." Several clergy organize the service that includes song, stories of runners trusting God, communion in many different religious styles and ending with a prayer of dedication for the marathon, the city, our nations and world peace.
