Cultural Orientation Coordinator

Provide case management support to clients in need of multiple services, including employment.

Assessment of current cultural orientation materials, development of additional curriculum and client survey.  Plan & teach orientation class for each ethnic group arriving.

Intern will coordinate programs to enhance involvement of parents in the educational process and create and implement intergenerational events with the children and residents at neighboring retirement community.

Intern will facilitate support group for spouses of residents with Alzheimers and coordinate a program involving memory loss and prevention with residents.  (AmeriCorps Education grant may be available.)
