Everyone,

This is my last day working at Menaul for now.  I will be leaving at lunch time and I am sad about leaving and ending my life here.  I loved my time here and had a great experience. I have enjoyed working with everyone here. You have made my experience very enjoyable.  I did not know what it would be like to volunteer here, but it was better than I imagined. I loved the community atmosphere in the school and at Teachers Hall with the other volunteers.   And  I did not realize that Albuquerque and New Mexico have so much culture and beauty and history. I loved all of it.  I will be back.  I just don’t know when.  I just retired at the end of December and I came right out here.  So now I will be going home to find out what it means to be retired.  I have lots of ideas about things to do and I will enjoy spending time with my family. I want to thank each one of you for everything you did to make my stay so enjoyable.  I will miss all your smiles and all the friendly faces. And thank you for the lovely going  away party.  You are all very special.
