Volunteer Position: Construction Site Supervisor ~ Full-time volunteer facilitates the work of the short-term disaster recovery mission trip groups through service as on-site construction supervisor.

National Farm Worker Ministry (Placement possible in Oregon, California, North Carolina or Florida; national office in St. Louis)
Mission: interfaith organization whose purpose is to be present with and support farmworkers as they organize for justice, empowerment, and equality.
Volunteer Position: Community organizer; volunteers educate consumers, coordinate boycotts, promote union label products, organize rallies and delegations, arrange visits to farmworker camps and homes, write letters and leaflet, march, and pray. Volunteers assist in the development of educational materials and worship resources, organize faith-based groups for farmworkers, assist with presentations to local congregations. (www.nfwm.org)
