Habitat for Humanity (Fresno)

Mission:  building community in partnership with low-income families through the construction of new houses, renovation of existing structures, and revitalization of neighborhoods. The current community includes 40 percent of all households are considered low-income and unemployment is more than triple the national average. www.habitatfresno.org 

Volunteer Position:  Volunteer coordination assistant; skilled construction leadership; assistant in ReStore, a retail store that sells construction supplies and materials to raise money for building homes.

Period:  2-12 month placements year-round

Apply by:  3 months prior to requested start date

Housing:  Apartment if available or Host family

Minimum Age:  19 years
