You meet remarkable people. You hear remarkable stories. You learn how to survive. You see how others survive. You are definitely a different person.

Westmoreland Volunteer Corps., 2007-08

3-5 young adults serve in social service or justice advocacy agencies in the local community of a Companion Communities' host church. The volunteers also form intentional community with one another, participate in activities of leadership development with the local host church and engage in faith conversations.

Housing, food stipend, and health insurance provided. Possibility of qualification for a half-time AmeriCorps Education Grant during September - June program.
