Although it's official observance is on December 1st, we must make everyday a World AIDS Day if we are to keep our promise to stop AIDS!

World AIDS Day is an important occasion for building awareness and joining our lives and spirits in response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic in our communities and around the world.  The World AIDS Campaign theme for World AIDS Day 2009 is "Universal Access and Human Rights". 

Our resources will also emphasize the importance of prevention in light of the 27th General Synod's resolution, "Calling for Comprehensive HIV Prevention in Church and Community." As you plan for this global celebration, please use the following resources, adapting them as you need for your particular context:
